We at Green Harmony Design strive to bring nature back into people's lives by creating memorable settings in private and public gardens and larger landscapes that are harmonious with humans' lifestyles and the neighboring flora and fauna, with the goal of healing our planet and humanity and allowing all life to live sustainably and regeneratively.

Concept:

As our title says, we create beautiful, bold, creative, edible, and regenerative designs. Beautiful meaning that our design palette uses compatible color, textures, and forms that are pleasing to the eye. Bold, since we love to do the unusual and different, allowing our special designs to stand out from the monotony of design firms and be noticed. Creative in the use of cutting edge ideas for materials and designs that expand our thinking and our perceptions of what is possible. Edible landscapes is the rich blending of ornamental and food producing plants, like fruit trees, vegetables, and herbs to produce a unified and easily maintained landscape. And lastly, regenerative, meaning we design landscapes and systems that will work together with the larger environment providing safe and ecologically alive spaces for humans, plants, and wildlife, and actually allow the environment to heal, renew itself, and regenerate. We envision a world where humans and the natural world live in symbiotic harmony, helping each other to live effortlessly and abundantly in appreciation and beauty.

Green Harmony Design is spearheading the California inspired movement of bold, cutting edge, and regenerative garden and landscape design on the US 's East Coast. We are shaking and tearing down the very foundations of traditional garden design stating it is time to throw out the old ideas and now is the time to try new ideas. We want to explore every depth of our creative consciousness and subconsciousness to create a variety of settings in the landscape that will delight, entertain, relax, and even surprise you. Can you picture flowering perennials and ornamental grasses swaying gently on a warm summer day as they lull you into a state of calmness with their heavenly contrasting colors, forms, and textures? Our gardens will amaze you as you notice subtle changes from hour to hour, day to day, week to week, and season to season that traditional gardens don't display. One hour you might be dazzled as a hummingbird zooms into your garden, enticed by your red flowers, the next day you might see a new flower blooming, the following week, you might see how the sunflower is getting taller, and the springtime will awaken you with blooming flowers after a long winters rest. Our gardens are a cornucopia of ecological variety that is teeming with life since we allow nature to thrive in all its entire splendor.

We also specialize in designing a multitude of styles and possibilities such as roof gardens, rain gardens, rock gardens, children's gardens, edible gardens with fruits, vegetable, and herbs, fish ponds, swimming ponds, bamboo gardens, conifer gardens, meadows, native plant gardens, xeriscape gardens, Asian-, Mediterranean- , and tropical styled gardens.
